This week we have a very special edition of the

season" traffic.

Unless you've been shipwrecked on a deserted island for
the last few weeks, you would have noticed that all things
relating to Christmas are now starting to fill the shelves
at your local department stores.

We even have one local radio station that's started to
play Christmas music... already!

Now we don't know about you, but we just love this time of
year. While more than anything we look forward to spending
quality time with our loved ones and families, it's also
the time of year that we look forward to increasing our
profits.

You see, we are now coming into the "silly season" leading
up to Christmas, where traditionally consumers are getting
into gift buying mode, and as such they're starting to
search for those "ideal" gifts online.

This is without a doubt the internet's peak season and it
is extremely important that as an internet marketer you are
able to identify this shift in market focus. If you can do
this, then it allows you to implement strategies early so
that you to gain maximum advantage during this period.

This will then give you a solid foundation to begin
implementing tactics to grow your online business during
the quieter months of January through to March.

So the question remains...

How can you capitalize on the potential profi.t windfall
from the increased interest in online shopping?

If you are to succeed online, it is imperative that you
are willing to diversify and target the needs and wants of
the current market conditions. It is important that in the
early stages of your development you're willing to take the

Christmas is predominately about families, so obviously

for children. This being the case, many people will very
shortly be trying to get their hands on the hottest and
most popular gifts and/or toys, before the "riots" start.

The Best Gifts and Hottest Toys for Christmas 2004

After weeks of research it looks like a retro, techno
Christmas season. Retro because lots of old favorites have
returned with new twists. Techno because of the twists. So
as promised in the last issue of this newsletter, here are
hottest selling toys, gizmos, gadgets and electronics for
the 2004 Christmas season.

If you take a look around at the catalogs, their covers
feature all the usual suspects like Barbies, dancing Elmos,
Mega Bloks, Disney and Fisher-Price. And no doubt, some
of them will continue to be best sellers, not necessarily
because they are the best toys... but because they are on
the cover of the catalogs and have a solid history of sales.

If you dig a little deeper, there's a lot of new "old" stuff
about to break onto the scene. This year's going to be
different according to CNN m0ney, "It's the year of the tech
toys." The headline rea.d, "Expect interactive TV games to
poke the fun out of Barbie and Elmo this holiday season."

Publishers of the Toy Book agree. Electronic entertainment
for kids will be huge this year. They also expect the trend
of classic video games and dolls to emerge as clear winners.

They expect interactive TV games - the simple box and
joystick variety - to be the hottest trend in toys this
year. Things like Jakks Pacific classic Atari games, or the
Namco TV games with classics like Pac-man and Rally-X. All
you need to do is plug the joystick into the TV. Instant
fun.

There's more. Radica Games extended their line this year
with EA Sports' Madden Football, which includes an
interactive wireless football. Look for other favorites like
Snowboard or Monster Truck to be best sellers as well.

Plug and play is everywhere, including the old favorite
(Remember this?) Etch A Sketch from Ohio Art Company.
There's the extremely hot selling V-Smile TV learning system
and the Leapfrog Leapster Multimedia Learning System. Again,
all you need to do is plug them into the TV.

In other high tech products, Disney revealed the Dream Desk
PC for children. It includes an optical pen, tablet, DVD
player, color printer and a Micky Mouse shaped monitor.
Nintendo has their Game Boy Advance SP. But the real m0ney
is in the accessories like chargers, game cases, earbuds,
connector cables and stereo speakers.

Last year Hasbro introduced the VideoNow personal video
player. It allows you to take your favorite TV shows on the
road. This year's flagship "Professional Video Player" has
been totally revamped. It uses a backlit 2.5" high
resolution LCD and offers up to six hours of play time with
battery use.

On the low tech end of the retro scale, expect a big return
of Cabbage Patch kids in dozens of configurations, complete
with adoption certificates. The Easy Bake oven has been
re-invented as the "Real Meal" oven. It no longer uses a
light bulb. It heats up like a real oven and is capable of
cooking mac & cheese, pretzels, cookies and more.

A highly coveted - rarely given - gift will be the new rage
of pocket or mini motorcycles, which are scaled down
versions of street racing bikes. They can be gas or
electric, extremely small, light weight and fast.

For kids there's the Razor E100 and E300S Electric Scooters,
which run between 10 to 15 miles per hour, and up to 45
minutes on a single charge.

For tweens and boys who love toys, there's the gas powered
versions. Although not street legal, they could have a lot
of fun in parking lots and playgrounds after hours.

But the biggest winner? Remote controlled everything from
Robosapien the Robot, to helium filled blimps, to miniature
stunt cars, to Tyco's amazing new R/C Terrain Twister.

Why do I think so? Well, after weeks of research something
dawned on me.

The local mall has a cart showing mini rc stunt cars. Turns
out, so does the other mall, and the next. As I've said many
times before, keep your eyes and ears open. Sometimes all
you need is a single clue.

I went back to the malls and discovered that all the carts
selling rc cars belonged to the same company. As luck would
have it, they interviewed the teenaged boy on the news that
night. Are you rea.dy for this?

Over a million dollars in sales by mid September. Imagine
what they're going to do over the Christmas season? Thanks
to the fact that men never grow up ;-) these "boy toys" are
going to make a lot of affiliates and boys happy this
season.

So whether you choose techno or retro, or a combination of
both, this year's going to be a block buster. So dust off
your keyword research, find those niches, get your mininets
set up, and be rea.dy to take advantage of the billions of
dollars in sales.

Afterall, you shouldn't feel guilty about making m0ney. You
worked hard for it. You put a lot of effort into your sites
and optimizing them for the search engines. You paid for
adver.tising. Brought the buyer and seller together.
Someone's going to make a commission off the sale... it
might as well be you. Afterall... you did a good job and
deserve it :-)

Ok, so you've decided to diversify and benefit from the
expected explosion in online traffic resulting from people
looking for gifts during the "silly season".

Perhaps you've already decided on your niche market,
worked out who your market is and you've signed up for some
affiliate programs. Heck you may have even created a
website to help your conversion ratio.

Don't stress out if you haven't yet got this far, because
you're about to learn exactly how to do all this... and

So the question is... what do you do now?

How can you start making money from your selected
products or affiliate programs?
