"Using
Video to Increase Your Affiliate Profits"

There
are now more people than ever trying to earn an extra
income online with affiliate marketing, so it's no wonder
that the competition is getting stiff. The challenge is
to try and outdo other affiliates by thinking of ways
to be different.
However,
there are also many tips and techniques being used by
savvy marketers to give them the edge that it's becoming
more and more difficult to differentiate yourself from
everyone else.
One
method that we notice has not been used effectively is
videos. The reason for this may be that to the average
person, creating a video can be a very daunting and as
a result most people shy away from this extremely effective
marketing tool.
Think
about it. What better way is there to wow your prospects
and customers than to record and publish top notch streaming
screen-captured videos?
It
is a proven fact that giving your customers something
they can actually see can have a major impact on your
results and can increase conversion up to 10-fold!
And
if you think you simply couldn't do this because you're
a non-techno geek, then think again!
With
today's technology it is easier than ever. Anyone can
create stunning videos, multimedia tutorials or step-by-step
presentations using software such as Camtasia or similar
type programs. The process is like having your customers
seated next to you and looking over your shoulder at your
desktop while you work.
And
if you say you don't have time to do this, then sorry
but you do. Do you know how long it takes to make a 12
minute screen capture video... exactly 12 minutes. How
easy is that!
To
put it in very basic terms, with screen capture technology
you simply record your desktop activity as your working.
In fact, you don't even know it's running. All it takes
is a single click and it starts recording what you're
doing on your desktop. And there's no need to save and
compile all your files because it is recorded right there
and then.
Let's
face it, videos are easier to understand and a much easier
method to explain things, unlike reading text which oftentimes
is a trying and confusing, particularly if you're trying
to explain a process. There's nothing like using visual
images to get your point across!
For
instance...
If
you're promoting a product that can make your potential
customers life much easier, then create a video showing
them how it will do this. Once your visitors see how much
time it will save them or how easy it is to implement,
they are much more likely to take action.
Or
create stunning multimedia presentations that show your
visitors in step-by-step detail the benefits of your affiliate
product or service using examples etc. This also has the
tendency to eliminate doubt and/or reduce skepticism.
Videos
are also an effective way of redirecting your visitors
straight to your affiliate website after they are finished
with the video. Make the most of the presentation by putting
your site location in the end and make them go there directly
if they want more information.
You
could also give these videos away as a method to build
you subscriber list etc. There's nothing like creating
visibility and name branding to promote yourself and get
your message through.
One
of the added benefits of demonstrating visually how to
use your product is that it reduces refunds and other
customer concerns. As a result, complaints are minimized
because all the facts are there for the customers to see
and hear for themselves *before* they purchase.
These
are just some examples of what you can do with screen
capture videos to help either increase profits of your
own product, or to improve conversion for an affiliate
program. But in the long-run you're only limited to your
own imagination as to how you use them.
Regardless
of what you use your videos for, the main purpose is to
be "different" so that you can boost your income
by either capturing subscriber details or creating affiliate
sales. So try to focus on the goal that you have set,
think outside the square and achieve results by using
the tools that are available to you.
